From electowiki

Welcome!

Hi,

Welcome to the new Electowiki! See User:RobLa and Electowiki:About for notes about the migration.

Let me know on my talk page if there's anything I can help with, if you know of any deleted articles on Wikipedia that could be resurrected here, etc. There's a To do list if you're looking for something to help with.

This runs on Mediawiki, so it has a lot of the same features as Wikipedia, but is missing a few (like automatic citation generation) and has a few that Wikipedia doesn't (like support for inline YouTube videos). Images from Wikimedia Commons can be used directly without needing to be uploaded.

The wiki is 14 years old and has never had a ton of activity, so the goals/policies were never really solidified. Your input is welcome, especially on how to handle the separation of biased advocacy from neutral informative content (which are both welcome). See Electowiki:The caucus for the discussion topics and Electowiki:Policy. — Psephomancy (talk) 03:37, 5 February 2020 (UTC)

Introductions

Hi User:Matijaskala, it's great seeing ongoing editing from contributors like yourself. As you can see, I have a user page at User:RobLa, and it is filled with a lot of information about me, and links to more information elsewhere. It's probably more information than most people want to know, and it's perfectly fine to remain anonymous editing here. Still, I'd greatly appreciate it if you put something on your user page, even if it's "I edit Electowiki, and I prefer to be known only by my username". If you have better user profiles elsewhere on the web, feel free to link them in. It's helpful for folks like me to keep track of who is who when making contributions, and so I can keep an eye out for conflicts of interest and other possible problems as our list of editors grows. Could you put something on User:Matijaskala? Thanks! -- RobLa (talk) 01:10, 30 April 2020 (UTC)
